Downloading Videos on Mobile vs Desktop: What's Different
The core steps are the same, but where the file ends up — and how you get to it — differs by device.
On mobile
Downloaded files typically land in the Files app (iOS) or a Downloads folder (Android), and often need to be manually moved into your Photos or Gallery app to appear alongside your own camera roll.
On desktop
Files save straight to your browser's default download folder, making it easier to batch-process several links in a row using separate browser tabs.
