How to Download Videos on Android Without Installing an App
Android doesn't require an app for this the way some people assume — the browser alone does the job.
Chrome handles the download itself
Once a video file loads in a mobile browser, tapping Download saves it directly to the device's Downloads folder — no separate downloader app is needed on Android for this last step.
Finding the file afterward
Android's Files app (or Google Files) shows everything saved to the Downloads folder, sorted by date, which is the fastest way to locate a video right after saving it.
Moving it into Photos or Gallery
From the Files app, a saved video can be moved or copied into the Gallery app so it shows up alongside your camera roll instead of staying in a separate Downloads list.
